Body Check

Just did my 2nd body check in Lethbridge.
1st step into the health center,
I saw a long queue waiting to have their flu shot taken.
Fortunately, I had make an appointment two weeks ago.
Since Dr. Makar is at maternal leave,
she then is replaced by Dr. Kennedy.
Had my weight and height measured before the entire check up started.
I am kinna anxious to know my weight
Feeling so positive that there will be a definate increase
but the result turns out to be the same when I last weighted in Malaysia.
Phew!
Hmm weird... my clothes fit well; not as loose as before ... funny!
Well, no surprise... height still remains the same all these years :(
not a single 0.5 cm of growth! So disappointed :(
A little chit chatting with Dr. Kennedy.
We talked about my past medical history.
Just found out from my previous laboratory findings,
I was diagnosed with Type I von Willebrand's disease.
Not a big problem... only mild symptoms and
for the most part these are manageable up to this point.
So no worries ... based on my CBC and iron studies,
I am not either anemic or iron deficient.
I have an excellent response to DDAVP and the dosage helps to improve my refractory epistaxis (nose bleed).
Dr. Kennedy, told me I have good blood pressure.
haha... that's becoz of my trick!

I took 3 pieces of it before I went to bed last night.
Ate another one this morning before going for class.
Took a couple candies on my way to school.
I had been consuming quite a sum of glucose since early this semester to balance my stress level.
That makes my blood pressure beautifully done.
I told Dr. Kennedy my problems 'the weekend fever'
She decided have a further check up through blood test to see if there is any virus attacking me.
BLOOD TEST again!

Don't wanna get poke again :(
Have phobia getting my blood drawn.
Still remember the last time I did it in the hospital lab, they tool 13 bottles of my blood. yea you get me right ... no kidding.
On the way to Calgary, they broke the bottles and requested me to have my blood drawn again .
What an awful experience.

The test that I will be tested on:
~CBC & Automated Diff
~FER (Ferritin)
~FOLR (Red Cell Folate)
~B12 (Vitamin B12)
~TSH (Thyriod Stimulating Hormone)
~UA (Chemical Strip Urine)
~CXR (X-Ray)

keep my fingers cross and hope for nothing big coming up.

Not in a good mood today...
Got my midterm...
60% of the class get a F grade...
Though I passed but the grade is extremely poor.
I am confuse...
I thought I did better than the last test but the result is worst compare to before. I wonder whatz the problem :(
Hence, I emailed Martin right after class and plan to talk to him regarding the test.
Hope it all work out fine.
